Essential Soul Care® Academy encompasses the courses I currently teach, offering personal and professional development for therapists, coaches, healers and seekers.
Essential Soul Care® is a psychospiritual approach integrating holistic healing methods to support personal and spiritual development. The concept includes a blend of metaphysical practices, energy medicine, spiritual coaching, and intuitive tools to guide individuals on a journey of self-discovery, emotional healing, and purpose-finding.
Essential Soul Care® encompasses several components:
- The Essential Soul Care® Oracle Deck – A tool for intuitive guidance, co-created by Nagel and Akridge, used to facilitate reflection and insight during readings or personal practice. More info about the deck can be found HERE.
- Courses and Workshops – Offered as part of the Essential Soul Care® framework to teach individuals and practitioners how to integrate psychospiritual tools into their personal or professional lives as well as various therapeutic, coaching and metaphysical topics that embody the ethics and expertise spanning Dr. Nagel’s professional scope.
- Book and Written Resources – This includes literature that further explains and explores the methodology, often interwoven with spiritual direction and energy healing.
This approach combines both traditional therapeutic practices and spiritual exploration, helping clients address issues related to life purpose, emotional blocks, and spiritual awakening

- Transformative Coach Training Series, Part 1, 2, 3 & 4 30-60-120 hours- qualified toward the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential through NCC/CCE
- Clinical Supervision Series, Part 1 & 2 30 hours/15 hours- qualifies toward the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential through NBCC/CCE

Online Continuing Education for Mental Health Professionals
NAADAC hours can be used by most mental health professionals as many licensing boards recognize NAADAC for both core and related hours within the disciplines of counseling and social work. In most cases, courses I offer for coaches and alternative healers are also approved by NAADAC.
Some courses are approved for aromatherapy continuing education through the National Association of Aromatherapy (NAHA). Dr. DeeAnna Merz Nagel is a Level 2 Certified Professional Aromatherapist. Aromatherapy courses are listed HERE.
Transformative Coach Training, Parts 1-3 have been approved by HRCI® (HR Certification Institute). DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC is a HRCI® Recertification Provider (RP).
DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC is a Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) Registered Board Certified Coach (BCC) training provider (#RCTP1002-BCC). This series is approved as 30/60/12o hours for the BCC required training.
All four courses in the Transformative Coach Training Series have also been approved for Board Certified Coach (BCC) continuing education by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).
