Last Updated: August 2026
Welcome to DeeAnnaMerzNagel.com. This website reflects the professional, educational, creative, and scholarly work of DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC.
These Terms of Use and Disclaimer apply to this website and to courses, trainings, workshops, educational programs, online learning environments, downloadable resources, and related educational materials offered by DeeAnna Merz Nagel and/or DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the website or Services, including by purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or participating in an educational program, you acknowledge these Terms of Use and Disclaimer. Where agreement to these Terms is presented as a condition of purchase, enrollment, or course access, proceeding with that purchase, enrollment, or access indicates your agreement to these Terms.
Educational and Informational Purposes
The content provided through the Services, including blog posts, articles, courses, podcasts, downloadable resources, recommendations, presentations, and other materials, is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing provided through the Services is intended to substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric, medical, legal, or other individualized professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information presented may discuss mental health, physical health, wellness, aromatherapy, nutrition, spirituality, coaching, and related subjects. Such information is general in nature and cannot take into account your individual circumstances, medical history, medications, diagnoses, or other factors.
Always consult an appropriately qualified healthcare or other professional regarding questions about a medical or mental health condition, treatment, medication, diet, exercise program, or other health-related concern. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of information you have encountered through the Services.
No Professional Relationship
Accessing the website, reading its content, subscribing to communications, participating in publicly available resources, enrolling in an educational program, or contacting DeeAnna Merz Nagel does not, by itself, establish a therapist-client, coach-client, supervisor-supervisee, spiritual direction, healthcare, consulting, or other individualized professional relationship.
Participation in an educational course or training establishes an instructor-student educational relationship only and should not be interpreted as establishing therapy, coaching, clinical supervision, healthcare, spiritual direction, or another professional service relationship unless separately contracted.
If you separately contract with DeeAnna Merz Nagel for professional services, the terms, informed consent, scope, confidentiality, fees, and other conditions governing those services will be provided separately and will supersede these general Terms where applicable.
Crisis and Emergency Situations
The Services are not crisis intervention or emergency services.
If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, is experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or is at imminent risk of suicide or serious self-harm, contact the emergency services or crisis resources available in your location.
Do not rely upon this website, email, course communication, social media, or other non-emergency communication with DeeAnna Merz Nagel for crisis intervention.
Health, Wellness, Aromatherapy, and Product Information
Information about essential oils, aromatherapy, nutrition, wellness practices, supplements, products, or other health-related topics is provided for educational purposes and reflects professional education, research, experience, and/or personal perspectives as identified in the individual content.
This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
Statements concerning products or wellness practices may not have been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Products discussed through the Services are not represented as substitutes for appropriate medical care.
You should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before making changes to medications, treatment, diet, exercise, supplements, essential oil use, or other health practices, particularly if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have known allergies or sensitivities.
Individual experiences, examples, or testimonials should not be interpreted as guarantees of results. Experiences vary from person to person.
Reliance on Information
Although reasonable care is taken in creating and maintaining content, information is provided on an “as-is” basis and no guarantee is made that every resource is complete, current, error-free, or appropriate for every individual or circumstance.
Professional standards, research, laws, regulations, technologies, and ethical guidance change over time. Older articles, courses, presentations, recordings, and archived materials may reflect information or professional practices current at the time they were created.
Your use of and reliance upon information provided through the website, online learning programs, publications, podcasts, presentations, or other educational materials is at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DeeAnna Merz Nagel and DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC disclaim liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from the use of or reliance upon information presented through these resources.
Intellectual Property and Educational Use
Unless otherwise indicated, original written content, instructional materials, graphics, exercises, prompts, presentations, recordings, course design, and other original materials created by DeeAnna Merz Nagel and/or DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC are owned by DeeAnna Merz Nagel and/or DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC and are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual property law.
The website and educational programs may also contain academic publications, books, articles, publicly available resources, and other materials created by third parties. Ownership and copyright in those materials remain with their respective authors, publishers, or other rights holders.
Some third-party materials are included by permission or pursuant to applicable licenses. Permission granted to DeeAnna Merz Nagel or DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC to use third-party material does not transfer or extend to course participants. Participants wishing to reproduce, publish, distribute, or otherwise use such material are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission directly from the applicable copyright holder.
Enrollment in or purchase of a course, training, workshop, or other educational program provides a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the program and its materials for the participant’s individual education and professional development.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, original course and educational materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, sold, sublicensed, uploaded to another platform, adapted, or incorporated into another course, training, workshop, certification program, publication, website, learning-management system, or other educational or commercial product.
Participants are welcome to apply knowledge, theories, concepts, principles, and skills learned through an educational program in their own professional practice and may independently develop their own educational materials through consultation of original academic, professional, and other appropriately licensed sources.
Enrollment does not, however, grant permission to reproduce or copy the instructor’s original materials or to use the course’s original selection or arrangement of content, instructional framework, sequencing, assignments, exercises, prompts, presentations, or curated collection of resources as a template, source curriculum, or curriculum-development resource for another course, training, workshop, certification program, or other educational offering.
Brief quotations from original materials may be used with appropriate attribution where permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict uses otherwise permitted by applicable copyright law.
Purchase or enrollment provides access to an educational experience. It does not constitute the purchase, transfer, assignment, or licensing of the course curriculum or intellectual property contained within that educational program.
Links to publicly available pages on this website are welcome.
Course Access and Account Use
Course access is provided solely to the enrolled participant. Login credentials and course access may not be shared, transferred, sold, or made available to another person or organization.
Course materials may not be systematically downloaded, captured, copied, recorded, scraped, or otherwise collected except where downloading, printing, or another form of personal use is expressly provided or authorized as part of the course.
Materials made available for download remain subject to these Terms unless expressly stated otherwise. Permission to download a resource for personal educational or professional use does not constitute permission to redistribute, publish, sell, license, or incorporate that resource into another educational or commercial product.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Modern artificial intelligence technologies may be used as collaborative tools in the development, editing, presentation, and curation of content appearing on this website and within educational programs offered by DeeAnna Merz Nagel.
AI tools may assist with brainstorming and conceptualization, organization and structure, editorial refinement, grammar and readability, research organization, summaries and study aids, visual materials, and audio or video presentations.
Within educational programs, AI may also be used to assist in the curation and presentation of supplemental learning materials. Source materials are identified and credited within courses whenever applicable. AI-assisted or AI-generated learning materials are reviewed and curated by the instructor for their relevance to course content and learning objectives.
When an audio, video, or other learning resource is substantially AI-generated, this may also be identified within the course material so that learners understand the nature of the presentation.
The core professional perspectives, lived experience, interpretations, opinions, and original expression presented by DeeAnna Merz Nagel remain her own. Artificial intelligence is used as a tool in the creative, educational, and editorial process and does not replace professional judgment, course curation, or accountability for the final material.
Products, Recommendations, Affiliates, and Disclosures
DeeAnna Merz Nagel is a Young Living Essential Oils Brand Partner and may receive compensation associated with qualifying purchases or membership activity.
Because network marketing relationships can create potential dual-role or boundary concerns within the helping professions, DeeAnna does not enroll current or former direct-care therapy clients into her Young Living organization. Individuals may instead purchase through the company independently or through another distributor.
From time to time, the Services may mention or recommend additional books, products, services, educational resources, wellness products, or other materials with which DeeAnna is familiar or has personally used.
Some links or recommendations may result in a small commission or other compensation if a purchase is made. Where applicable, these relationships are disclosed in the interest of transparency.
A recommendation does not constitute a guarantee that a product or service will be appropriate for every person.
Online Learning
DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC offers online educational programs, including self-directed and instructor-facilitated courses. Courses are currently delivered through the Pathwright learning platform.
Student responses and course participation are treated as private educational communications within the learning environment except when a student voluntarily chooses to share information outside of that environment or when disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
Course purchases may be processed through third-party payment services, including ThriveCart, Stripe, and PayPal. Those providers maintain their own privacy policies and terms governing payment information.
Enrollment may add the student’s email address to communications necessary for course access, announcements, updates, and administration. Students may opt out of nonessential marketing communications; however, an active email address must remain associated with the course roster while the student is enrolled so that necessary course communications and access can be provided.
Some courses require books, supplies, or other materials that students are responsible for obtaining unless otherwise stated.
Courses offering continuing education credit must be completed within the time period specified for that course. Unless otherwise stated, this period is one year from enrollment.
Completion of course content does not automatically guarantee the issuance of a certificate, continuing education credit, credential, certification, or other recognition. Participants must satisfy the completion requirements established for the individual course and, where applicable, the requirements of relevant credentialing or continuing education organizations.
Course Refund Policy
Purchasing a course provides access to educational content and materials. The learning platform records course access and progression.
Because course materials become available upon enrollment, refunds are not ordinarily available after substantial course content has been accessed.
If, after accessing only the first lesson, you determine that the course is not what you anticipated, a refund request may be considered when submitted within 30 days of purchase, provided that no additional course content has been accessed.
Questions involving course access, technical difficulties, or course content should be directed to the course instructor or to deeannamn@gmail.com.
Any course-specific refund or enrollment terms presented at the time of purchase will govern that enrollment.
Student Grievance Policy
Students with a concern or grievance are encouraged first to contact DeeAnna Merz Nagel, course instructor and owner of DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC, so that an appropriate resolution can be explored.
When a course falls under the standards or approval of an external credentialing or continuing education organization, students may also have the right to pursue the grievance procedures established by that organization. Applicable contact information and grievance procedures will be provided upon request or as specified within the individual course materials.
External Websites, Platforms, and Services
The Services may contain links to websites, platforms, products, organizations, and resources operated by third parties.
DeeAnna Merz Nagel and DeeAnna Merz Nagel, LLC are not responsible for the content, security, availability, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites, platforms, or services. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
Use of third-party learning, payment, communication, or other platforms may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies established by those providers.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Use and Disclaimer may be revised periodically to reflect changes in the website, educational offerings, professional activities, technology, or applicable practices.
The most recent revision date will appear at the top of this page.
Revised Terms apply prospectively from their effective date. Continued use of the website or Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Course-specific terms presented and accepted at the time of enrollment will continue to govern that enrollment where applicable.
Agreement
By accessing or using the website or Services, or by purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or participating in an educational program where these Terms are presented as a condition of enrollment or access, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website or Services or enroll in or access the applicable educational program.
Questions regarding these Terms may be submitted through the website’s Contact page.
