I recently attended an oils gathering (I am doing that a lot lately).
I had the opportunity to experience a few different oils and oil blends that I didn’t have in my collection. We passed around several blends including Inner Child, Abundance and Release. I wasn’t really reading the label on the bottles as they came around. I inhaled and then looked at the label to read the name of the blend.
“Oh, this is lovely…”
That was my internal dialogue about each one as I nodded and politely acknowledged each aromatic experience.
And then I lifted the bottle toward my nose, took in the aroma and instantly felt a sensation all over my body. I felt tingly and within seconds emotions welled up and I began to cry.
It wasn’t a sad or fearful cry. It was a deep emotional release followed by a sense of safety and protection and a need to know what oil blend I had just experienced.
White Angelica
Huh. Well it did sort of feel like an angelic presence that engulfed me.
When I got home I ordered the blend and then looked up information to read more about it. I knew I had to have it and when I read up on it, I knew why I had to have it.

Energy BalanceWhite Angelica™ is a calming and soothing blend that encourages feelings of protection and security. It combines oils used during ancient times to enhance the body’s aura, which brings about a sense of strength and endurance. Many people use it as protection against negative energy.
Essential oils are powerful. Our olfactory senses connect us to so many experiences, past, present future. I felt a deep connection and familiarity with the experience I had-
Soul-level stuff.
I hesitate to explain it, deconstruct it or say much more. But I will say this. The oils become what they need to be for each of us. I am convinced of that. I don’t expect everyone who takes a whiff of White Angelica to have the experience I had. I do expect that over time, when one integrates the oils into lifestyle, an emotional experience of some kind will occur, at some point, with some oil. Yup.
