I am truthful… (writing prompt)
Yesterday in my Women Manifesting Group, we pulled from a stack of positive affirmations and used the affirmation as a writing prompt.
I pulled, “I am truthful” and so I wrote for a few minutes the first thoughts that came to mind.
Take the prompt.
I am truthful…
You can stop reading this now and do the same and then compare your thoughts to mine. Just take a few minutes and write whatever comes to mind…
I am true to my path. I am truthful to a fault. But my truth can change. How I see the world changes depending on what life brings.
I have been faced with my shadow side- that dark part of my soul that has acted against what I understood as my truth. And those actions sometimes caused my truth to shift.
Truth is not always black and white. Be genuine. Be authentic. And tell your truth with grace and humility- large doses of both. Be open for new interpretations of your truth.
Always tell truth that comes from the light. Don’t blurt your truth if it is not for the greater good in that moment.
And when you discern, know that what you discern my indeed be for another person to know or it may just be for you alone.
