Be a lightworker!
“What is my purpose?”
“What am I supposed to do for a living?”
“I don’t know what my passion is…”
“Write a personal mission statement??”
I hear these and similar questions all the time from my clients and my students. These questions really get down to the business of soul searching. And even when we think we know our purpose and passion, shift happens. Life dishes out when we least expect and when we are least prepared. In the process, the meaning of life changes.
You are a Lightworker
I believe we all have a light that shines within us. Depending on how bright our light is, the light radiates out and touches others. That sounds a little “new agey” but it is true. When someone is feeling lost I encourage them to search within, listen to their own inner voice, and find the light.
I also believe we are all lightworkers. No matter what we do for a living, whether we are gainfully employed, looking for a job, comfortably retired, we are all here to shine our light to others so that they in turn can do the same. It is sort of like a domino effect. And if we focus on the light within us, we don’t get so bogged down in the people or events that cause our light to dim.
If you don’t believe you have this light within you (also known as source energy, divine energy, the holy spirit, chi, lifeforce energy) the next time you are faced with someone else’s negativity, set the intention to shine your light in their direction. Just send light their way. Watch the change occur. You just worked with light.
There’s an oil for that…
The more you send light to others, the more your light shines. When your light shines you gain clarity, you find your purpose, you reach your highest potential. And yes, there are oil blends for that. Highest Potential, Envision, and Magnify Your Purpose are examples of oil blends I use to set the intention each day. Shining my light and and living with intention helps me live out my soul’s purpose.
I hope this post about love and light is helpful. The more we shine the more graceful, humble and awesome our lives become!
