Ethical Issues for Therapist-Coaches is a course designed for coaches and coaches-in-training. Therapist as Coach requires knowledge of both scopes of practice.
During this course you will explore the most common questions with regard to coaching ethics, particularly if you are already a therapist or counselor who is adding coaching to their practice. Ethical codes and competencies from three major coach organizations/affiliations will be discussed as will issues of Informed consent.

Course Objectives
Participants will gain an understanding of dual responsibilities of a coach-therapist.
Participants will be able to identify coach competencies.
Participants will familiarize themselves with coaching codes of ethics.
To complete the course you will need to have access to a computer/tablet and should be comfortable using the Internet as you will be working on an e-learning platform. You will be required to answer experiential questions and you will receive individualized feedback from your Learning Coach throughout the course. Continuing Education Credit
This course is qualifies toward continuing education requirements through International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Board Certified Coach (BCC).
This course is also approved for Continuing Education through NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Many states accept NAADAC CE hours for counselors and social workers.
