Yes- you heard right. Learn Reiki to level III and earn 30 CE in the process! I have taught this course for many years and now the course is approved through NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. This course, Using Subtle Energies for Recovery and Renewal includes Reiki training so read on and consider a new topic for Continuing Professional Development!
NAADAC hours are accepted by many states for continuing education requirements not just for addictions and substance abuse counselors but for social workers, mental health counselors, and psychologists as well. If you are not sure whether or not your board accepts NAADAC feel free to email me.
The 30-hours includes principles of Reiki, attunement and education about subtle energies, the chakra system and its impact on wellness and recovery. The course is online and self-paced. At the beginning of the course you are offered an attunement and as you move through the course, reading and experiencing, you will give written feedback to the lessons. The course faciliator (myself or Madison Leigh Akridge) will respond to your lessons and answer any questions.
The course is taught from the Usui tradition and additionally emphasizes the benefit and efficacy of distance healing.

Using Reiki for Your Own Self-care
We are constantly being reminded as healers and helpers to take care of ourselves and engage in self-care practices. This course teaches you, the practitioner, a tool to do just that on a daily basis. You can include this as part of your existing ritual or use as a stand-alone, spending just 10-2o minutes per day.
Teaching Reiki for Self-care to Your Clients
It is wonderful to be able to teach this form of self-care to your clients. Reiki is steeped in tradition and research. As a Reiki Master Teacher you will be able to offer Reiki education to your clients so that they cn engage in this very gentle, energetic self-care process.
