Wow. Just. Wow. Don’t be taken by the Twin Flame Scam!
Sometimes the scam doesn’t happen intentionally. In fact, most of the time Twin Flame services are offered by well-intentioned people who are Twins themselves and want to help others on the journey.
So what do I mean by “scammed”? I know that word conjurs up accusation, blame, retribution, legaleze. But, the word did what I wanted it to do. You are reading this.
Now that I’ve got your attention…
Top 3 Things to Beware of When Seeking out Twin Flame Advice
You are told that he/she is or is not your Twin Flame
This is a big no-no in my book. Here’s why. It’s kind of unethical… sort of like a doctor telling you you have cancer because your DNA shows a propensity toward cancer. The same applies with Twin Flame energy. The person may be picking up on the energy of your false Twin Flame, an ex, or someone else recently in your energy field. I am willing to tell someone whether or not I am picking up on Twin Flame energy but that’s as far as I want to go.
Another reason for not telling someone he/she is or is not your Twin Flame? Ultimately this is dis-empowering. The nature of the Twin Flame journey lends itself to constantly seeking answers or validation or explanations because the ride can be a bit unnerving. So it is a natural part of the journey to ‘want to know” and it is also the very thing most Twins need to learn- to know from within. This is about trusting what we know at soul level. This is YOUR Twin, not the advice giver’s Twin. You are the only one who can know for sure.
Here’s an example of Twin Flame advice gone terribly wrong. I worked with a person recently who was told by a psychic that this person she was seeing was her Twin Flame. She divorced her husband and set out to have the perfect Twin Flame relationship and it turned out he was NOT her Twin Flame. She came to that conclusion herself after suffering terrible emotional abuse. She lost her husband and her children in the process. And now she struggles with feeling helpless and powerless.
You are told that spell casting is the way to go.
Sure you can cast a spell or have someone cast one for you. I see that as a bit different than manifesting through the Law of Attraction. Spell casting can work- but beware what you ask for. There is such a thing as Divine Timing so if you ask for something without being crystal clear that you only ask if it is for the greater good of all, you might end up in a the middle of a big shit storm (yes, I said that).
Free will and Divine timing are two very powerful agents that can interfere with our attempts at molding our future and yes, we can maneuver time and space (energy) but just do so with integrity. Otherwise things might get messy. Every outcome prayed for, manifested or spell casted should be for the greater good of everyone involved.
Your advisor has no experience other than being a Twin Flame
I will probably catch a lot of flak for this one but again, if you commit to a vocation helping people, I believe you should commit to being mentored, becoming a student again and learning your craft. Just because someone has had addiction issues doesn’t mean they are qualified to counsel or coach people in the throes of addiction. And we all know that just because two people can make a baby, that doesn’t always translate to being good parents. Your advisor, psychic, coach should demonstrate competence so that you can have confidence. Most of us doing the work have a coach, mentor or psychic we work with for ourselves as well. I know that keeps me from working in a vacuum.
Many of these Twin Flame coaches, consultants, psychics and intuitives have not furthered their calling through education or credentials (don’t get me wrong- sometimes credentials aren’t worth the paper they are written on). Still, if a person is committed to helping, advising, guiding- a demonstration of that commitment via professional development efforts seems a reasonable expectation.
Look for someone who has demonstrated through past work history, schooling, volunteer work, certifications, publications or any other manner of personal and professional development that he/she is truly a lightworker.
Is he my Twin Flame? “How do I call in my Twin Flame?”
I offered Twin Flame consulting services for several years. Most people reaching out wanted validation that the person they have met is their Twin Flame. The next most popular inquiry is “How do I call in my Twin Flame?”
You know how I answered the first one- I didn’t. As I said, I will tell you whether or not I pick up on Twin Flame energy and we may be able to sort out what that means but ultimately it is your experience and intuition that guides this question, not mine. To the second question I said, “Do your own soul work.” Or as Rumi said, “Go find yourself first so you can also find me.”
When you do your work your light shines brighter and you become a beacon for your Twin Flame and others!
