Oils for Essential Living is a collaboration between myself of Online Aromatherapy Institute and Wendy Bright-Fallon of Renew Wellness. We have partnered to bring local workshop flair to Red Bank. Our workshops are always focused on Young Living Essential Oils but we like to mix it up a bit to offer introductory education, “make and takes” and special workshops that bring in like-minded professionals to talk about services and products that compliment the use of essential oils.
Update: I am now in Havana, FL but Wendy is still in Red Bank, NJ and continues to provide stunning educational opportunities through Nourish Coaches. Stay tuned though. Occasionally Wendy and I partner through the interwebs to share our common love of wellness and essential oils! 🙂
Back to the original story…
So last week we were delighted to host Mother Nature’s Helpers: Herbal Tea & Essential Oils.
Nicole Lerario (AKA: Madam Potts) shared all about Chai Tea, from the traditional uses of the herbs and spices in the blend to the more medicinal qualities inherent in this Indian black tea blend. We covered how they relate to Young Living Oils as well as sampling the tea. It is no mistake that we are all drawn to warm beverages in the winter that contain clove and cinnamon- both spices warm the body and boost the immune system!
We also made an coconut milk chai using essential oils. This blend required only that a toothpick be dipped in the essential oils bottle and then swirled in the tea to give a hint of each of the oil flavors. We used pepper, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and fennel. See the recipe below!
