Metaphysical Teacher
She is a fabulous metaphysical teacher and I am soaking up her knowledge and passion for all things “pixie.” She also grabbed my attention because her personal story led her from a very analytical, fact-based career as a lawyer to relying on her intuition and reaching out to her spirit guides. I like that. It validates my experience. I hesitated for years to really embrace the intuitive part of me because well, I couldn’t “prove” it and who would believe me?
On Being an Intuitive
Now I am “out”- shingle hung, and I am a professed Intuitive. Yesterday someone picked up my business card and said, “You give Intuitive Readings? Do you see and hear things?” I explained that I was not a fortune teller but I have the gift of guiding so when I meet with folks online (much like I did as psychotherapist for 20+ years) I call on my intuition to aid the process. She replied, “Oh, that is serious stuff.”
Yes. Yes it is. And that is why I am constantly adding to my knowledge base and making sure I am offering inspired guidance from intuition and not ego. So I discovered Deborah King’s course through Hay House- Certified Spirit Guide Coach, and the course is fabulous.
Learning About Chakras

Akashic Records
I also learned from Deborah King about Akashic Records, also referred to as the Book of Life. I don’t conduct akashic readings directly, but sometimes in the Intuitive Readings I do offer, the skills I learned in her certification course help me guide others.
Lifeforce Energy Healing
Deborah King also offers certification in her energy healing process called Lifeforce Energy Healing. I completed her Level 1 course. This training, combined with my Reiki training has truly enhanced my own self-care skills and has given me confidence in sending Source energy to others.
Deborah King has been one of my Mentors. She has influenced my work and I am grateful to have studied under her.
